On 31st January 2021, pulse polio immunisation Inauguration done by D(O) ,Sri A. K. Saxena Sir at VSGH in presence of Dr K H Prakash CGM Medical, DrJ N Sarangi, Dr S Rajsekhar. He and other members administered 2 drops of OPV . There were 5 polio Booth centres in ukkunagaram, one transit Center, one mobile center.
Around 1408 children below 5 yrs of age were given polio drops on this polio Ravivaar.
Around 30 Vaccinators and 5 supervisors are involved in successfully completing this PPI Program.
